This is our 8th year lacing up the skates to Put Cancer on Ice and I need your support! Joe and I are once again sponsoring 2 teams in the #11DPP Community Shift this summer in honor of our son Jason who was taken from us due to complications related to a leukemia battle. Jason is a St Francis High School grad who was an accomplished athlete winning all conference awards in both soccer and hockey. He was within a year of completing his Navy Hockey career as a team captain, graduate from the US Naval Academy, be commissioned as a Naval Officer and head to Pensacola to train as a Navy Pilot. This was all cut short because of cancer impacting his very large circle of family, teammates, company mates and friends. We became aware of the lack of resources for Adolescents & Young Adults (AYAs) when facing many unique challenges when facing a cancer battle leading us to establish a charity focused specifically on this underserved age group - Jabs for Life AYA Cancer Fellowship, Inc. Jabs is proud to be a sponsor of the 11DPP.

It will be a grueling 3 hour shift for our players but this is nothing compared to what cancer patients endure. Please support me to #PutCancerOnIce. Proceeds of the event will support cutting-edge research and wellness programs at Roswell Park, Make-A-Wish WNY, Camp Good Days, Roswell Park and Oishei Children's Cancer and Blood Disorders Program and The Petey Fund.
