The impact of cancer is profound, affecting not just the individuals diagnosed but also their families, friends, and communities. It’s crucial to continue raising awareness, supporting research for better treatments, and advocating for those affected.
As a brand new teammate of Jabs for Life - FLY with JJ team and 716 PP, we will be participating in the 2025 11 Day Power Play, an 11-day marathon hockey game that raises money for cancer research and wellness programs. Last year, with your generous support, we raised $3,200, and throughout the entire event over $10 million was raised.
(These dates are Wednesday, June 18th, 2025 - Sunday, June 29th, 2025 at LECOM Harborcenter in Buffalo NY.)
Donations raised will benefit cutting-edge cancer research and wellness programs at Roswell Park, Camp Good Day, Make-A-Wish Western New York, and The Roswell Park and Oishei Children’s Cancer and Blood Disorders
Together, we can continue to make an impact in the search for a cure, and better the lives of those living with cancer. Together we can provide hope for a brighter tomorrow.
Thank you for supporting Jason's family as well as Sarah's family!

(In August 2021, Jason was a healthy 21 year old about to start his 1st Class year (Senior Year) at the US Naval Academy who was looking forward to his final collegiate year as Captain of the Navy Ice Hockey team. About a week before the start of the semester, he was diagnosed with leukemia. After a tough battle, he flew ahead after being pinned with Naval Aviator Wings on November 27, 2016 due to complications related to his treatment protocol. We will also be playing in memory of my late wife Sarah Luke. Sarah loved hockey! Especially the Buffalo Sabres. Sarah’s life was cut short due to colon cancer in December 23 2020, She was only 31 years old. She had no medical history. It was very fast and sudden. Sarah was a first responder, and a volunteer)
