I need your support! Help me #PutCancerOnIce by making a contribution to my player page. I’m so excited to have the opportunity to support the 11 Day Community Shift again in 2025! It’s crazy to think I am participating in my 8th consecutive #11DayPowerPlay. While I wish I could be home to actually play in the event, I will not be able to get leave to make it home this year, but this cause means so much to me, I am still working to fundraise as much money as possible. I am on the Jabs for Life - FLY with JJ team for the 2nd year, which is a team made up of mainly military members and has been so welcoming, even though I can’t actually be there to skate.

With each passing year, this cause becomes more important to me. I am so incredibly proud to once again be participating in honor of my friend, Emmett Jakubowski and others that mean the world to me recently diagnosed with this terrible disease. I am also playing in memory of a very close family friend, Mr. Ray and a good friend of my mom’s, Brian Bauer, both of whom we lost to cancer a few years ago.

Proceeds of the event will support cutting-edge cancer research and wellness programs at Roswell Park, Make-A-Wish WNY, Camp Good Days and Roswell Park Oishei Children's Cancer and Blood Disorders Program.
