11 Day Power Play

The world’s longest hockey game to fight cancer hits the ice next November. It’s going to be grueling. It’s going to be insane. It’s going to be inspirational. From November 14 to November 24, 2021, Buffalo RiverWorks will play host to one unending hockey game to raise money for cancer causes in our community including Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center, Make-A-Wish WNY, Camp Good Days, Roswell Park and Oishei Children's Cancer and Blood Disorders Program.

This year, as we return to our original formula of two teams of 20 players gunning to break the world record for the longest hockey game ever, we won’t be going it alone. 40 more teams made up of our biggest supporters have been invited to skate alongside us on the neighboring ice each day. They’ll be adding energy, excitement, and that extra jump. They’ll be united with us, 1 team with 1 goal: to shatter that record and do some serious damage to cancer.
