I am once again playing in the 11 Day Power Play Community Shift this summer. I look forward to this every summer, and am looking forward to returning. This organization is particularly meaningful to me, as I battled throat cancer 16 years ago. Though I was able to make it through treatment, I am well aware of the effects cancer has on most. During the last 16 years, I have seen my mother and many friends and family go through the horrors of cancer. I consider myself very lucky to be a cancer survivor and to be able to still play hockey. Thank you very much for your support and consideration!
