On Monday, June 23rd, my broken old a$$ is going to (attempt to) play three straight hours of hockey. My knee is going to suffer. My back is going to suffer. My asthmatic lungs are going to suffer. But you know what? Just a couple of days later, I’ll feel fine and life will be back to normal (or at least, as “normal” as my life can be - LOL). You know whose lives DON’T just “go back to normal” a day or two later? Cancer patients. And THAT’S why I’m doing this. Cancer sucks and it has taken the lives of way too many of our loved ones.
