Cancer affects everyone we meet. This event holds a special place in my heart as many of you know, my Dad has been fighting his battle with cancer since 2006. He has endured countless procedures, treatments, drugs, experiments, etc. and continues to courageously fight this horrible disease day in and day out. Despite the battle he's been through, he always put his kids first, and both him and my Mother Peggy made unmeasurable sacrifices that allowed me to pursue my hockey career. Any donations for this event would be greatly appreciated. I can't wait to play in honor of him and the thousands of other cancer patients this will benefit.
