11 Day Power Play

PJ Dipirro Jr

PJ DiPirro Jr

Thank you for visiting my page! I am extremely honored to have been selected as one of the 40 players that will participate in this year’s 11 Day Power Play! Yes, I’m playing in the world's longest hockey game to fight cancer outside in the elements. That's right 252 hours of hockey!

This is a cause that is very important to me. I have seen countless family, friends and colleagues battle this horrible disease. In 2014, I lost my grandmother, Mary Incao, to lung cancer. Just this past year, we lost a dear friend, Lisa, to cancer. She bravely battled for years, and was taken far too young. In addition, my father-in-law and business partner, was diagnosed with neuroendocrine cancer of the pancreas and liver. He was lucky, and with the help of the amazing Team at Roswell Park, he is beating this disease! Others I have known were not as lucky. I want to be a part of the movement that helps bring an end to cancer!

Here’s where you come in. I need your support! I am asking for whatever you can give - no amount is too small! Proceeds of the event will support cutting-edge cancer research and wellness programs at Roswell Park, Make-A-Wish WNY, Camp Good Days and Roswell Park and Oishei Children's Cancer and Blood Disorders Program.
