Hello Friends;

After having two shoulder replacement surgeries this year, I am back on the ice to raise money for my favorite charity. This year is especially important, as my good friend Dan Leahy lost his brief battle with cancer in January. Dan was a friend since kindergarten, and was a beloved figure in South Buffalo. Words cannot describe the loss our tight group of friends, and especially his family, are feeling with loss of such a great father and friend.

Please help me honor Dan's memory with your donation to such a great cause. Cancer has touched all of our lives, and it is our mission to help find treatments/cures so that others do not have to suffer the same grief we are feeling with the loss of Dan.

Proceeds of the event will support cutting-edge cancer research and wellness programs at Roswell Park, Make-A-Wish WNY, Camp Good Days and Roswell Park and Oishei Children's Cancer and Blood Disorders Program.

Any level of support you can provide is greatly appreciated. Every dollar counts. I'm running a special rewards program for this year's event. Anyone donating $500 or more will receive a logo puck from the event signed by Dan's family. My two highest donors will receive the special Captain's jerseys signed by all the participants on our team.
