My name is Mason Prater, and I've pledged to take part in the annual 11 Day Power Play in Buffalo New York, which is a "hockey marathon" consisting of multiple 3 hour shifts to help raise money for cancer research and wellness programs for those affected by it. Hockey is a sport that I've recently introduced to my life, and in the two years of this journey I've already made memories and connections that will last for the rest of my life; it only seems appropriate that I use this sport -- and the memories and connections that come with it -- to try and make the world a little bit better in return.

To help get a jump start and ensure those who would benefit from your donations get the assistance they need, I will be personally matching donations for the first $1,000 donated, effectively doubling your contribution in thanks for your early support.
