11 Day Power Play

I’m participating in the 11 Day Power Play Community Shift this summer. It is an 11-day hockey marathon game where hundreds of teams play in 3 hour shifts.
I’ll be playing my shift on June 28th to help raise money for cancer research and wellness programs that support children and families impacted by cancer.
This cause is very personal to me because I’ve lost several family members to cancer — most recently, my uncle this past March. Participating in this event is a way to honor their memory while supporting others facing cancer today.
The event benefits: • Make-A-Wish Western New York • Camp Good Days and Special Times • Roswell Park & Oishei Children’s Cancer and Blood Disorders Program • The Petey Fund
