Another year, another chance to take the ice and raise money in the fight against cancer! I'll be a part of two skates once again: one with WGR550 on June 27th at 3pm, then right back at it to captain the Ankle Benders on June 29th at 3pm!
Everyone knows someone whose life has been affected by cancer. Sadly, we know of too many of these stories and lives. Like all years before, play for the likes of Tom Connolly, Dave Parker and Lori Rowley. I also play for those that still fight like hell in Nick Rowley and for those that have beaten it like Nate Geary, James Kelly and Amanda Licata.
Proceeds of the event will support cutting-edge research and wellness programs at Roswell Park, Make-A-Wish WNY, Camp Good Days and Roswell Park and Oishei Children's Cancer and Blood Disorders Program.
