I need your support! I am playing in the #11DPP Community Shift this summer.

I learned of my own cancer diagnosis at 37 in the aftermath of minor surgery. It was a reminder that cancer can impact anyone at any age or health. The impacts are profound regardless of the prognosis. Fortunately I have been cancer free for about 4 years now following care at Roswell Park Cancer Institute. The care and attention to detail from my care team was consistent and reassuring. The experience changed my outlook on life and my empathy for those who have experienced the same themselves or alongside someone they care about. I’m fortunate to be able to participate in an event like this and to remember there are people fighting every day under the most difficult circumstances.
