I need your support! I am playing in the #11DPP Community Shift this summer. It will be a grueling three hour shift but nothing compared to what cancer patients endure. Please support me to #PutCancerOnIce. Proceeds of the event will support cutting-edge research and wellness programs at Roswell Park, Make-A-Wish WNY, Camp Good Days, Roswell Park and Oishei Children's Cancer and Blood Disorders Program and The Petey Fund. 

This is my second year participating in this event, but its my first year as a player! I will be playing this year for my father Andy who has been battling an aggressive colon cancer for the past year and still holding strong! Last year I was a bench manager while my father was recovering from the HIPEC procedure, or as some call, the mother of all surgeries. After 14 hours and about a week of post-op recovery, he made it back home safe. He is the strongest person I know and gives me the inspiration to help others everyday.
This is a lot more than a game. This will be a test of will, dedication, and determination. I look forward to playing for such a great cause and to make my father and family proud
