I am hereby seeking your financial support for the great cause of funding cancer research and improving the treatment experience for cancer patients.
My name is Zach Jacobson. This is my second year playing in the #11DPP. I am a junior pre-med studying Biology and Society at Cornell University's College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. I am playing in support of my Aunt, Renee Skibitsky who is a survivor of Breast Cancer, in memory of my grandmother Jan Jacobson, a victim of breast cancer, and in memory of my grandfather, Thomas Skibitsky, a victim of pancreatic cancer.
I will be playing in the #11DPP Community Shift this summer to support these people and raise money. This will be a grueling 3 hours of hard-fought hockey which is nothing compared to the experiences of cancer patients. Proceeds of the event will support cutting-edge research and wellness programs at Roswell Park, Make-A-Wish WNY, Camp Good Days, Roswell Park and Oishei Children's Cancer and Blood Disorders Program, and The Petey Fund.
Donations of any size assist in improving the treatment of cancer patients and bring us closer to a cure.
