This year I will be playing in the 11 Day Powerplay. The 11 Day Powerplay is 11 day long hockey game to fight cancer. When I was still playing hockey, my grandfather Thomas Gorzynski, had passed away from prostate cancer that metastasize to bone cancer. My grandfather, Papa, was one of if not my biggest supporter during my hockey career. Away from hockey, Papa was my "fishing buddy" as on our annual fishing trip in Canada we would share a boat. On these trips he taught my brother and I all he could without getting himself in trouble with our father. Papa would also introduce me to many other things like hunting and even some things my mom doesn't know about. Without him i wouldn't be the man I am today, as the most important thing he ever taught me was to work hard and never quit no matter the circumstances because once it's over there is no going back. With that being said attached to the post I have my fundraising page for the 11 Day Powerplay. The proceeds are given to Roswell Park, Make A Wish and Camp Good Days.
