I play hockey for the Southtowns Stars and Kenmore JV Hockey, and this year I’m participating in the 11 Day Power Play.
I decided to do the 11 Day Power Play because,
“I love hockey, I love playing hockey with my buds, and I want to help people who have cancer.”
During this event, my teammates and I will skate a grueling three-hour shift to raise money for organizations that support families dealing with cancer and help fund cancer research including: Roswell Park, Make-A-Wish WNY, Camp Good Days, Roswell Park and Oishei Children's Cancer and Blood Disorders Program and The Petey Fund. It’s challenging, but it’s nothing compared to what so many families go through every day.
If you’re able, I would really appreciate your support. Any donation — big or small — helps make a difference. Please support me to #PutCancerOnIce.
