I need your support! Once again, I am proud to be playing in #11DPP Community Shift this summer.

Let me state this as succinctly as I possibly can: cancer sucks. It took a grandfather I barely knew because he died when he was younger than I am now. It took my mother, far too soon, at age 70; two years later, it cruelly took my dad. I’ve lost several friends to this disease, and many people I know (including my incredible wife Mia and my cousin Mike) have fought and/or continue to fight it with a courage that truly amazes me.

Cancer is evil, indiscriminate, and dehumanizing. It attacks the body. It attacks the mind. It attacks basic human dignity. I hate and fear it and I am therefore honored and grateful to have the opportunity to participate on two teams skating toward finding a cure. Please consider joining me by making a contribution to this critically worthy cause. Cancer sucks, but together we can make a difference.

Proceeds of the event will support cutting-edge cancer research and wellness programs at Roswell Park, Make-A-Wish WNY, Camp Good Days and Roswell Park and Oishei Children's Cancer and Blood Disorders Program. And in 2024, we’re excited to announce a new annual fund we’ve set to award to a deserving nonprofit that supports cancer wellness programs in Western New York.
