I started playing in this event three years ago in response to my wife being diagnosed with cancer.

I'd love to tell you that she is the only person I've ever known with this disease. But I'd be lying.

My mother, my aunt, my mother in law, my cousins wife, and three of my best friends have all been touched by cancer. Two have already lost their battle.

As someone watching these brave people face death and fight to survive, you begin to really understand your limitations to how you can help.

This is how I can.

I need your support! I am playing in the #11DPP Community Shift this summer. It will be a grueling three hour shift but nothing compared to what cancer patients endure. Please support me to #PutCancerOnIce. Proceeds of the event will support cutting-edge research and wellness programs at Roswell Park, Make-A-Wish WNY, Camp Good Days and Roswell Park and Oishei Children's Cancer and Blood Disorders Program. In 2024, we're excited to announce a new annual fund we've established to award a deserving nonprofit that supports cancer wellness programs in Western New York.
