I need your support! I am playing in the #11DPP Community Shift this summer. It will be a grueling three hour shift but nothing compared to what cancer patients endure. Please support me to #PutCancerOnIce. Proceeds of the event will support cutting-edge research and wellness programs at Roswell Park, Make-A-Wish WNY, Camp Good Days, Roswell Park and Oishei Children's Cancer and Blood Disorders Program and The Petey Fund.
This year I am skating in the memory of my good friend's dad Matthew E. Lacy Sr. Matt worked for the City of Saratoga Springs DPW for over 20 years where he was affectionately known as “Monday Morning Matt”. He enjoyed “betting on the ponies”, screaming obscenities at the TV when the NY Jets played, and staying hopeful for the Amazin’ Mets. Matt loved cooking and barbequing for his friends and family. He also enjoyed spending his free time tinkering in his garage and taking “Bear” on car rides to the dog park.
We all skate and volunteer to help families like the Lacy family through the tough times that cancer brings. Please consider donating today, EVERY LITTLE BIT HELPS! Even just $1 can help get us to our goal.
