My mom was diagnosed with cancer during my senior year of high school. I'll never forget her visiting me in college and seeing her in the stands at one of my hockey games, wearing a wig for the first time. She fought hard and remained in remission for 16 years-until last year, when we learned her cancer had returned. She has been undergoing treatment this year, facing it with the same strength and resilience.
I am playing in the #11DPP Community Shift in her honor. In addition to my mom, I'll also be playing for my brother-in-law Kevin, my uncle John, and my grandparents.
Please help support me in the fight to #PutCancerOnIce.
