I'm gearing up to hit the ice once again, leading our team in a lightning-fast, three-hour face-paced hockey game for the #11DPP Community Shift. This will mark my third year at the helm, and each year, our team grows stronger and more determined.



But this game isn't just about the thrill of hockey for me. It's personal. I'll be out there, skating hard and giving my all, not just for the love of the game, but as a tribute to my friends and family who've faced the challenges of cancer. Their resilience fuels my determination throughout this intense match.

It's an honor to be part of this incredible event, one that unites our community in support of a cause that touches so many lives. This three-hour game might seem grueling, but it's a fraction of the endurance that cancer patients face daily.

The proceeds from this event go directly to vital causes: funding groundbreaking cancer research and supporting wellness programs at Roswell Park, Make-A-Wish WNY, Camp Good Days, Roswell Park, and Oishei Children's Cancer and Blood Disorders Program.


And the excitement doesn't stop there! In 2024, we're thrilled to announce the launch of an annual fund dedicated to supporting nonprofits that focus on cancer wellness programs in Western New York.
