As a Buffalo native and longtime lover of hockey and fighting for a good cause, I decided to join this team in honor and memory of my Uncle Tom Canfield, who we lost last year after his short battle with esophageal cancer. He was taken way too early from us by that horrible disease. I am honored to carry his name with me on this journey. I'm also playing for mother, who survived brain tumor removal surgery when I was very young. Roswell Park is now the only place she can go for her MRIs, and I'm forever grateful they helped save my mother's life. See below for info on how your donation makes an impact!
I need your support! I was selected to be an alternate player playing in the world's longest hockey game to fight cancer outside in the elements. That's right 252 hours of hockey! Proceeds of the event will support cutting-edge cancer research and wellness programs at Roswell Park, Make-A-Wish WNY, Camp Good Days and Roswell Park and Oishei Children's Cancer and Blood Disorders Program
