I need your support! I am playing in the #11DPP Community Shift this summer. It will be a grueling three hour shift but nothing compared to what cancer patients endure.
I play because hockey became far more than a game for me — it became part of my fight. During chemotherapy, radiation, and every challenge that came with cancer, staying active and continuing to play gave me strength, purpose, and a sense of normalcy when so much else felt uncertain. Hockey was my safe haven — a place where I could still feel like myself, keep moving forward, and prove to myself that cancer would not define me. Physical activity became a powerful part of my survivorship, and I play to honor that journey while supporting others still in the fight.
Please support me to #PutCancerOnIce. Proceeds of the event will support cutting-edge research and wellness programs at Roswell Park, Make-A-Wish WNY, Camp Good Days, Roswell Park and Golisano Children's Cancer and Blood Disorders Program and The Petey Fund.
