I am excited to be playing in the 2024 Community Shift of the 11 Day Power Play to help in the fight against cancer.
This year I will be skating in four different shifts, each that are 3 hours long. It may not be 11 days straight, but a challenge none the less. I will be skating with so many different players who are all in this battle with me. I continue to do this to honor the memory of my Mother, Mother-In-Law, and the others who are currently battling the disease, or who have lost their battle.
By participating, I will help to raise critically needed funds for innovative cancer research at Roswell Park Cancer Institute. Although it may be physically grueling, it will be a walk in the park compared to what people endure in their battle against cancer. Cancer is a disease that touches everyone, and I want to make a difference!! You can help me do that by supporting my efforts in the 11 Day Power Play.
