This year I'm taking on the 11 day powerplay in Buffalo not just for the challenge, but in memory of my father.
Hockey has always been more than a game to me, it's about commitment, grit and showing up when it's hard on the days you may not have it all. Those are values my dad lived by every single day.
For 3 straight hours, every shift I take will be for him. For his strength. For his lessons. For the example he set for me and my family.
