11 Day Power Play

Bill Holden

Bill Holden

This year will be my fourth year participating in the 11 Day Power Play. In November 2021, I will be participating with members of the #Frozen40 and I need your support! I am one of four Directors of On-Ice and Off-Ice Officials. We are all participating in the world's longest hockey game to fight cancer outside in the elements. That's right 252 hours of hockey! I will be refereeing for at least 8 hours a day for 11 straight days. I will also captain our “Friday Night Hockey Guys” team which has been invited back as one of the event's top supporters to play in a three hour shift on the rink next to the main event! Our shift will be Friday, November 19th from 8:00pm - 11:00pm.
I participate in this event each year in honor of several family members and close friends who have battled cancer and survived, or sadly lost their battle. I also play to support and honor those who care for cancer patients.
100% of your donations stay in the Buffalo, NY community. Proceeds of the event will support cutting-edge cancer research and wellness programs at Roswell Park, Make-A-Wish WNY, Camp Good Days and Roswell Park and Oishei Children's Cancer and Blood Disorders Program.
Check out for more information.
Checks can be made payable to The 11 Day Power Play. PO. Box 4 Buffalo, NY 14223
Together, we can make a difference in the fight against cancer!
