Owen's Oilers

Welcome to our 11 Day Power Play Community Shift page for Owen’s Oilers! Our son Owen was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia at the age of 4 in 2018. Since then he has had intense treatments of chemotherapy at Oishei Children’s Hospital and Roswell Park Institute. This past April, our Warrior finished treatments and rang the Cancer Victory Bell. These kids have signed up to play on our team, captained by Owen and his older brother Cameron to play 3 hours of hockey on November 17th from 4-7PM at Riverworks. All donations to these players for the 11DPP go to Oishei Children’s and Roswell Park programs along with Make A Wish and Camp Good Days and Special Times. We have learned first hand how much these organizations mean to our community and the people and families fighting cancer. Please feel free to donate to any of our Oilers and share our team page. Thank you in advance and as always...#OwenStrong💙🧡

Our team needs your support! Help us #PutCancerOnIce by making a contribution to a player page. Our team has been selected to participate in an 11 day marathon hockey game. Proceeds of the event will support cutting-edge cancer research and wellness programs at Roswell Park, Make-A-Wish WNY, Camp Good Days and Roswell Park and Oishei Children's Cancer and Blood Disorders Program.
