I need your support! I am one of four on/office officials for the world's longest hockey game to fight cancer outside in the elements. That's right, 252 hours of hockey, and I'll be skating for about 25 shifts and 100 hours of the game! In addition, I'm hoping to run my own team and skate as a player for a shift in the community skate portion (if covid allows).
I will be playing in honor and memory of the 20+ members of my family and close friends affected by a cancer diagnosis. In particular, I play for my dad, both of my grandmothers, and a long list of aunts, uncles, cousins, neighbors, and even 2 teammates.
Proceeds of the event will support cutting-edge cancer research and wellness programs at Roswell Park, Make-A-Wish WNY, Camp Good Days and Roswell Park and Oishei Children's Cancer and Blood Disorders Program.
